I purchased for road cycling. They change color well. In bright sunlight I can see all details but do not have to squint. In shadows, like under trees, they lighten up to see the road well. The polarization cuts the glare very well.
They sit comfortably on my face and do not interfere with my bike helmet or straps.
However, they do not protect from wind well. Over 5-10mph, there is a noticeable flow of air across my eyes. At 15mph the wind on the eyes is becoming uncomfortable. Over 20mph the wind in the eyes is far too much. I cannot use these for road cycling
If they had cost US$10 or more, I would return them. My purchase price was less than US$5 so at that price, given the good color change and the polarization, I can give them 4 starts instead of a 3.
These might be good for mountain biking if you do not go over about 10mph on your descents. For me, I will use these for working around the yard, but not for road cycling.
